Flaming Gorge Harley-Davidson, Inc. began in 1986 as Harley-Davidson of Green River, Inc. Owners Dave and Lynda raised their children Doug, Danielle and Dennis while running the dealership. The kids have all worked in the business. Even granddaughter Destiny works to earn vacation money!
The business has grown from selling eight motorcycles that first year to annual sales of approximately three hundred Harley® bikes. The original showroom was 800 square feet. The building was subsequently expanded several times.
In 2003 the dealership was moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming located in the White Mountain Mall at exit 102 on Interstate 80. We made history as the first, and so far the only, full-service dealership anchoring a shopping mall.
With nearly 45,000 square feet, Flaming Gorge H-D is bright and spacious, offering a fabulous assortment of motorcycles, clothing, collectibles, leather, chrome, bike accessories and of course T-shirts! The huge parking lot provides ample space for big rigs and RVs. Access is easy on, east off from the interstate. You can’t miss our giant sign, the largest lighted Harley logo sign in the world!
We strive to live up to our motto: “The Friendliest Dealership in the West.” They will offer you coffee and popcorn, always available in our spacious customer lounge. The store is decorated with antique wagons, ranch, and mining and railroad memorabilia, rivaling many exclusive boutiques in Jackson Hole or Colorado’s tourist areas. Merchandise is attractively displayed in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and our staff strives to pass on the Western Hospitality inspired by our “Old West” decorating theme.
The Sales Department is managed by Dennis, Dave and Lynda’s son, who brings the pride of family ownership to his position. He enjoys riding his customized Wide Glide®, Electra Glide® Classic and will proudly show his racing machine, “The Destroyer™.” Dennis, Doug and John consistently deliver value and customer service, along with fabulous Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Offering great financing options, Dennis and his sales professionals can provide you with a complete package of insurance, service coverage, riding and motorcycle accessories, all included in your payment. Our New Sales Memember as of September is Cama Clark. She is a very driven person she is a very wonderful bright lady! She is constantly on the sales floor helping anyone that comes through that door!
Doug, Dave and Lynda’s eldest son, travels from his home in Nevada to boost our sales staff when needed to help you choose your perfect bike!
Danielle, Dave and Lynda's daughter, has worked in the dealership since before she could see over the counter! From Motorclothes to Promotions, Parts to Online maintence of the Web Sight, Danielle now helps out with the dealership where ever she can, when she can! Please go in and like us on Facebook! Our Service Department is getting a new look on service life. Striving for well known precision, efficiency and cleanliness. We have two techs Greg Posthauer he recently moved out from Indiana at the start of sturgis! He is a life long motorcycle enthusist, he also has 7 years experience with Harley. And we also have Nick Hanson who started with us in July 2011. He is a recent MMI grad. We are open for appointments whenever they would like to drop their bikes off. The guys are lacking in work as of right now. Greg and Nick are striving to be up-to-date on all the latest programs and training from Harley-Davidson. A Dyno Performance facility, with a Superflow Cycle Dyne Eddy Current Dynamometer enables expert computer analysis of your motorcylce. Our skilled technicians provide top-notch service to Harley riders who take real pride in their machines. Alex Stevens is our service writer/parts associate. He is a recent MMI grad that moved up from Arizona.

Our NEW Parts Manager Cliff started the week of Thanksgiving he moved from California he comes to us with nearly 40 Years of experience! He has a love for old motorcycles he currently has a 1935 Harley Flathead and a 1972 Ironhead Sportster. We also have Joe who is on the parts counter or helping in service as needed. Christine bounces between parts and motorclothes and just announced as our Promotions Cordinator for the store! Customer Service Representatives Cliff, Joe, Christine & Alex are eager to help you select accessories or repair parts that will correctly fit your motorcycle. Aaron Logan is proud to announce her role as Office Manager as well as acting Service Manager until we find that special someone to fill the bill!
We also welcome Don to our Maintenance Team. His goal is to keep things clean and friendly in our dealership!

The Muscular Dystrophy Association holds a special place in our hearts. We are proud to have helped with Harley’s contributions of over sixty million dollars. Dennis and the young Wyoming MDA Goodwill Ambassador Cody Cooper have formed a precious bond. Cody presented Dennis and (Casey) with an heirloom cradle that he made himself. Their first day home from the hospital, their newborn baby was placed in that amazing symbol of love and hope.
We have increased our support for MDA through the years with our annual Flaming Gorge Motorcylce Days fundraiser. With a poker run, breakfast, bike rodeo and other activities, this is a June event not to be missed. Dennis has nearly frozen, sitting in the dunk tank, and has donated a car for sledgehammer event. Be on the lookout for his next wild fundraising scheme!
Flaming Gorge Harley-Davidson has received several industry awards, including “TOP 100” distinction from Motorcylce Dealer News. Dave and Lynda were voted Outstanding Business People of Sweetwater County two years in a row, and have received numerous awards from the community and the Governor. Several celebrities, including Harrison Ford and Matt Frenette of “Loverboy,” have chosen our dealership as the place to purchase their new Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles.
