Spring Riding Season Is Knocking... Are You Ready?

I live in a suburb of Akron, Ohio. I recently completed a 15 day, 7,000 mile tour of several states in the south-west. I wanted to take the time to think everyone at your dealership who helped me back on the road when I had a problem with my bike.

I first noticed I had a problem with my rear brake and brake light lamp in Page, Arizona. I was headed north to Glacier International Park, Montana. Since the rest of my bike was working fine, it was Saturday afternoon, I decided to roll on. Who goes back, right? When I got to Provo, Utah I checked my H-D® Atlas, a God Send, and saw there are several Harley-Davidson® dealerships in and around nearby Salt Lake. I figured I'd hang out Sunday and take my bike in for service Monday morning. Wrong! When I looked in the back of the atlas for specific information on the dealerships, I learned their service department was closed on Monday's What's up with that, but thanks god the info was in the atlas. I was willing to lay over a day, but two? No way. I was pleased to see your dealership was an easy ride from Provo and that your service department was open Monday's.

I rolled into RockSprings Sunday afternoon and immediately went to your dealership. I was pleased to see it was within walking distance of several motels and restaurants since I'd given up my only means of transportation.

When I entered your store, I was greeted by the friendly ladies at the front desk. I explained my situation they referred me to the people in the parts department. The people I spoke to in parts took down my information and informed me that the service department opened at 9:00 AM the next morning and that if I brought it in early they would get right on it. I was pleased and comforted to know that I wouldn't have to wait days to have my bike serviced.

The next morning I brought my bike in a little after 9:00 and was immediately taken care of. I walked back to my motel and when I returned at 11:00 my bike was ready to roll. I'm sure mine wasn't the only bike your service techs had to work on that day, and appreciate that since I was out of town my problem was treated with priority. Everyone I spoke with at your store was friendly and helpful. It's nice to feel you're part of a larger family when you're a long way from home and you have a problem with your bike. Thank you to everyone who made this a positive experience. I could've been stranded for days had your people not greeted me with the empathy of fellow riders.

I promise that when I tell people about my trip, I will also tell them about the quality service I received at Flaming Gorge Harley-Davidson® in 440 Uinta Dr.

Please share this message with everyone who helped put me back on my way.

Thank you for adding to my riding experience.

Yours truly,

Charles R. Grimes, Jr
